There are two ways to clear off your record:

• Expunction:
  This is the procedure by which your arrests and criminal records can be entirely cleared. To qualify for this you must have been dismissed before the conviction occurred or you must have been acquitted or pardoned. Read the FAQs for more information.

• Order of Nondisclosure:
  In order to be eligible for an Order of Nondisclosure, you must have successfully completed your deferred adjudication for a felony or misdemeanor and not have received any other violations beyond a Class C Misdemeanor (generally parking tickets). Based on your particular offense, there is a waiting period (Click here for the waiting periods). To get an order of Nondisclosure the judge must approve and sign the order. From that moment on, any government agency or private entity will be prohibited from disclosing your criminal records to the general public.
